Insurance and Fees

I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I do not contract with any insurance companies. The fee for a 50-minute session is $275.

Some insurance plans (i.e., PPO plans) offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network services. To determine what out-of-network coverage you have, you can contact your insurance company directly. I will provide you with a detailed invoice with the necessary diagnostic and billing codes to submit for out-of-network benefits.

Payment is due at the time of service. You can pay by check, credit card, or use a Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account for the fee. Please feel free to ask me questions about this process.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate," which will estimate how much your medical care will cost within the next year.  Under this new law, health care providers need to give patients (who are not using insurance) an estimate of the expected charges, including psychotherapy.  You can ask your healthcare provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.  Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.  For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
